I put up the christmas tree and lights yesterday, I forgot how hard it is to put up that tree. I spent 2 hours bending it into shape and swearing at it (like it was alive and messing with me) until it finally resembled a tree. All it needs now is the presents to start building up under it. 😉

I was so tired this morning when I got up, I must have fallen asleep while walking to the bathroom and ended up walking into a door. Which woke me up right away, nothing like walking into a door in the morning to wake you up. Reminds me of the TV ads in Australia that tell you not to drive while tired. Doors can kill, don’t walk and sleep.

Anyways, kitta.net has gone over the 100gb bandwidth again this month, bugger. I think it may be a mix the new pages and webcam being linked to by everyone and their dog. I must try and get it down.

I love Thinkgeek, I have their binary blankie and cHix0r shirt. And I was checking out the new stuff today when I saw that they now have a few shirts for dogs, yes dogs. If only Harry would wear things and not tear them into 1 million bits when I turn my back to him, I could get him the ‘Humans Are Stupid’ shirt or even the ‘W00f!’ shirt from him to wear. 😀

As you can see, there have been a few changes to kitta.net today.

• And some other small changes here and there

I’m impressed by WordPress. Its post status ‘draft’ feature is great for when you’re writing an entry, but don’t have the time to finish. The image uploads makes blogging so much easier, and link management just plain rocks.

I’m still moving all the old blog entries over from greymatter. Yes, I know you can import them, but I was to go through them and sort out the good from the bad. The only downside is I lose all the comments.

Bugger dragging the fake Christmas tree out of it’s home, messing with the dusty leafs and then decorating it. I want a USB Christmas tree, all you do is plug it in and weeeee… Instant Christmas tree.

What will they think of next to be powered by USB? What about a pet robotic monkey that does tricks and sits on your shoulder while you blog, yeah, that would be so cool!

Speaking of monkeys, my friend made little red monkey a friend in paint while she was meant to be doing a MYOB course. He’s so happy, every evil world dominating monkey needs a friend. 😉 The question is, what shall we name little reds new friend?

I was being bid on over the last few days in Marks comments which has become to this date the longest fucking thread all of us have ever made at his site. Go us. In the end I won myself and Mark summed it all up best: “And the auction is officially closed. The winner is Kitta, almost as though she’s her own person, not to be bid on.”

Hehe.

If you read all of the comments (which I know most of you won’t) you’d know I won myself by getting my refer script finally running @ http://www.kitta.net/refer. Hell yeah. It only took me about 4 weeks to figure out that it was something tiny, but that’s normally how it goes. Over look the small things and concentrate on the large.

I saw this today while looking through download.com. There’s been a few homeland security software packages and plugins, that allows you to display a suitable graphic for the current homeland security advisory on your blog or desktop. Someone has taken that idea and made the PMS Alert 1.0, which tracks and alerts people to PMS levels.

Haha, it’s what every guy needs around that time of the month. 😉

I went to the doctor today. Wait, let me backtrack a little before I tell you about that. Sunday morning I was starting to feel a lot better, I was even making some jewellery. Then Sunday night I was sitting on my bed about to watch ‘Almost Famous’ when I felt my face burning, like someone had sprayed my face with acid. I took a look in the mirror and saw my face was bright red, and so were my arms, back, neck and after a minute or two, everywhere was red. When I started to get chills and shake like I was in shock my mother freaked out and took me up to the hospital. Actually, she dragged me up to the hospital. They said I probably had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics I’ve been taking and told me not to take any until I go back to my doctor on Monday (today) because my throat could close up next time. Fantastic.

Ok, now we can go back to the story. I went to the doctor today. She agreed that I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics and said they must have built up over the past week. Good news is my white blood cell levels are nearly back to normal, and the UTI seems to have cleared up. The reason why I still feel so sick is because of the allergic reaction to the antibiotics. I was told it will take a few days for me to feel better, my body’s a bit fucked upright now from everything that’s happened this week. I wish I could by a new body on eBay. In the future I’m not allowed to take any antibiotics from that family of antibiotics. This is fine by me because I hate antibiotics anyways.

Thank you for all the well wishes in my comments and emails. It puts a smile on my face, which is something I really need after the week I’ve had.

It’s been a while since I’ve been online, I’ve been pretty sick over the last few days and this is the first time I’ve felt ok to get up. I have a really nasty UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) that hit me hard & fast and should have put me in hospital. I can’t remember much of it, I had a really high fever, a headache and I was completely out of it. I know I went to the doctor and she said I have a bad UTI, but that’s pretty much it, luckily my mum came with me to remember everything. Apparently the doctor made me go have a blood test, but I can’t remember any of that and I actually woke up the morning after wondering why there was some cotton wool and tape on my arm). My doctor really wanted to send me to the hospital because I was so sick, she said I was in the ‘grey zone’ where she wasn’t sure what to do with me. She ended up sending me home with some strong antibiotics, and told me to come back the next day so she could see if i was getting better. Luckily I was a bit better when I went back the next day, I really did not want to be put in the hospital for 4 days on a drip, no bloody way.

I’m still quite ill, I feel dizzy if I get up so I’ve been in bed watching movies my mum rented for me. The antibiotics are working well, but the side affects from them are making my stomach feel horrible. Hopefully by this weekend I’ll be starting to feel a lot better. I have to have another blood test on Saturday to see if my white blood cell count has gone down, it was really high in the first test because of the infection and it got everyone worried. Except me, I can’t remember half of it.

Anyways, I thought I should tell you all where I’ve been. I’m feeling kind of dizzy now, so I’m going to go lay down again, but I’ll blog again sometime next week after I get the blood test results back. Lets all hope my white blood cell levels are back to normal by then. 🙂

Ahh, Halloween the night when kiddies (and grown ups) run around in costumes trick or treating and egging anything that moves. I think I’ll be having a scary movie night, eating lots of candy and scaring myself sounds fun. I’ve decided that because it’s Halloween my evil-o-meter should hit 100% for the first time ever, to celebrate the evilness of the day. What are you doing for Halloween, and what are you dressing up as?

Over the past few months I’ve been slowly changing over my blogging software from Greymatter, to B2, and then upgrading to WordPress. So now I just have to re-do everything again. I’m sorry about all the broken links around the place, kitta.net feels like a geocites site right now. All will be good soon and the evil broken links will be gone.

On a good note, my bandwidth mysteriously dropped on the 20th. No idea why it did, maybe I did something like moved a file or protected a file that was being whored. I mean, 6 GB to about 2 GB a day is a big drop for my little site.

Maybe it’s just me, but every time I hear ‘Rise Up’ – sung by the Australia idol finalists – I am reminded of The Simpsons. Remember that episode where Bart and his friends are in a boy band? The one with n-sync making themselves look like wankers? Well, the song Bart and his band mates sing (no idea what it was called) reminds me of ‘Rise Up’. I always get this image in my head of the aussie idols in the jet planes, flying around singing and bombing things, just like Bart and his friends did in their video clip. Weird hey.

I’m listening to possibly the worst radio show ever. A local radio station 92.9 has let guy called Lukey take over the Thursday night late shift, he also has a sidekick which is a computer generated voice. Yes, a computer generated voice. If a family member has ever installed that annoying bonzi buddy program while you weren’t looking, you’ll know what I’m talking about. The kind of computer generated voice that in 2000 was so cool, for about 10 minutes, then it just became annoying.

The really sad thing is that I either listen to this or watch ‘The Bachelorette’.

Did you know…

That you can ask for complimentary water at McDonalds so long as you order something? My friend did it yesterday. At first, I thought she was just taking the piss, but they gave her the water in a cup, with ice, a straw and without question or an evil ‘one day I’ll hurt you badly’ glare. Not only that, they gave her it in one of those ‘flip and win’ cups that are apart of their promotion right now.

I must try and use this information for good and not evil.
