Wrongfully Gay

Apparently, I’m a 5'6" lesbian living in the UK, looking for 18 to 99 year old single gay woman, female gay couples and groups for a relationship or 1-on-1 sex. I work in the media and have a rather average bust. Above all, I’m looking for honesty.

That is what a profile on gaydargirls.com says. It was brought to my attention by a reader who recognised the photos as mine and sent me an email regarding the profile. I have emailed gaydargirls.com asking for the profile to be removed. I’m not sure what aggravates me the most; the fact someone stole my photos or that they said I’m 5'6" and seeking a 99 year old woman.

The rest of the biography on the profile is literary genius…

“Like so many others i have been caught out after i have given my address to someone on here! So i expect some bloke to turn up at some point, scary stuff! makes a change to take a knife with me to bed instead of a woman! Whats the point in describing yourself when you have a pic?? What i like is a different story, women mainly, surprise surprise! seriously im a normal sort of girly, very fem, whjo like to drink hard, play hard and live life to the full, after all, we only get one shot at it.”

It never ceases to amaze me how the people that are the least honest always play the honesty card.

  1. That is a little strange.. but funny..

Clearly someone you have pissed off or someone you know is just having a go at you. Lucky you have a high profile and its not going to stick… still funny..

  2. Gary, I doubt it’s a joke or done in revenge. I’ve had people steal my photos and use them on profiles sites for years. A girl once ripped off not only my photos, but also my blog entries, she just changed little bits. And one guy fell in love with a girl using my photos and emailed me demanding I stop stealing her photos, a quick video chat cleared that one up, and he said he’d never date online again.

  3. I wonder what’s the point of this? I mean, if it’s some girl using your pictures then that’s going to backfire the moment she meets someone via the service.

And if it’s some guy, what’s the end result of that?

    Odd. Takes all kinds 🙂

  4. You mean your not gay? 😦
    Not even bisexual? 😦
Can’t you just pretend to be and keep a sad internet nerds dreams and fantasy’s alive 😉

    Seriously tho I saw this a little while ago and intially thinking it was a joke i laughed but then just thought it sad, i think it’s more likely to be someone that fancies you. oh errr a girl i mean. :}

Ps, i’m in the UK so if you want me to go and cut up their dungerees, and replace all their sensible shoes with fetish heels then just say the word :0

  5. “I wonder what’s the point of this? I mean, if it’s some girl using your pictures then that’s going to backfire the moment she meets someone via the service.”

Exactly! What’s she/he going to do when someone wants to meet them? Tool.

    I am greatly amused ;D

  6. ::laughs at Tom:: I know! WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE LESBIANS?

With all the time they took to steal your photos, they didn’t even TRY to copy your writing style. Or good English. Boo.

On the plus side: fake you is as hot as the real you! Heh.

  7. Also? I don’t get why someone would make a fake profile for a sex or dating site. I mean, if it’s a site called I’ll Never Meet You So Let’s Lead Imaginary Lives, that’s one thing– but if you’re actually HOPING to meet someone off of it, won’t they be disappointed or angry if you look NOTHING like your photos? Why go out of your way to promise something you can’t deliver?
