Durstan's big day out

Big day out

Where’s Durstan?

You can’t find him on the cover of his soon to be published book ‘Professional CSS’, but you can find him at the Big Day Out. Who am I talking about? Why Durstan (formally know as Dunstan) of course.

He gets around a bit this Durstan fellow.

  1. John Allsopp, Maxine Sherrin and Daniel Boud were there this year. Hopefully we’ll be able to add Russ Weakly, Cameron Adams and yourself next year, giving the BritPack a run for it’s money.

However if you want to hang out with the poms, you’re more than welcome. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. … and I can always make you feel at home with my almost complete wardrobe of Mambo (no joke). Except they’ve stopped making the darn Triple-One and Loud shirts. Oh, and I’m a Brit too, by the way, and I can highly reccommend the trip to Austin. I did the trip last year while on travels around Aus. Took me three flights and a few long-ish airport waits to get there, but so glad I did! Maybe see you next year too, Kitta?

  3. Andy, I wasn’t aware John and Maxine were there. By the way, is your URI correct?

Nathan, I’m sure anyone can play if they wish to.

Ian, I would love to be there next year. I’ll just eBay my soul or a kidney to pay for the plane ticket and she’ll be good. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I’ve got $17.23 USD for that kidney, if it’s still on the market.

Instead of Kottke’s micro-patron, you can be a micro-patient. Just think – you could end up (life) supporting yourself just on the sale of your own internal organs!

  5. Have been looking at doing site optimization and improving the web design on my site for a while, so this website has been really useful. Easy read also, so thank you!
