I’ve never been the kind of person to join Friendster or any of the other social networks, I just didn’t get ‘it’ (it being the reason why so many people join and become addicted). I totally get ‘it’ now though. I joined Orkut (the new social networking site funded by Google) a few days ago after receiving my invitation from Matt. I’m already addicted and finding myself logging on to Orkut has become one of the first things I do in the morning (right after checking email and brushing teeth). It is invite only though, so if you’re having trouble getting an invite let me know and I’ll hook you up. If you’ve already joined up, look me up and say hi. 🙂
